CHARLESTON – A Belle woman blames the company that manages her apartment building for her injuries.
Sharon L. Beckett filed her complaint against The Lynd Company in Kanawha Circuit Court.
According to the complaint, Beckett stepped into a broken drain cover on the walkway outside of her apartment at River East Apartments. She says she then tripped over the adjacent brick wall on December 19, 2021. This incident resulted in a collapsed lung and permanent respiratory impairment.
She claims The Lynd Company and Lynd Management Group negligently managed and maintained the property.
Beckett seeks compensatory damages. She is being represented by Larry L. Rowe of Malden.
