WINFIELD — Netranom Communications is suing Minardi Eye Center for breach of contract.
Netranom and Minardi entered into a contractual agreement on Oct. 8, 2015, wherein Netranom would provide Minardi with information technology services, equipment and network coverage for three years, according to a complaint filed in Putnam Circuit Court.
Netranom claims after the first three years, the agreement is automatically renewed every year after that.
Minardi entered into another agreement on Dec. 30, 2015, for an Avaya IP Office Phone System, configuration, training and onsite support and repairs for five years and then to be renewed each following year, according to the suit.
Netranom claims on Dec. 16, 2019, Minardi ordered a replacement optical PC and five Plantronics headsets on Aug. 19, 2020, and a replacement server on Sept. 22, 2020.
On Feb. 7, Netranom received a letter from Minardi with a 30-day notice that it would be ending services and asked Netranom to submit a final bill, according to the suit.
Netranom claims on April 13, its counsel sent a letter to Minardi notifying it that it was still under contract and not in a renewal period to cancel.
Netranom claims the defendant breached its contracts and has caused damages.
Netranom is seeking judgment in the amount of $64,268.10 with pre- and post-judgment interest.
