  Sweeney ST. MARYS -- Timothy L. Sweeney, the newly appointed judge in the Third Judicial Circuit, will be sworn into office at 2 p.m. on Dec. 30 in the courtroom of the Pleasants County Courthouse in St. Marys.

  CHARLESTON -- Acting Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin on Wednesday appointed Timothy L. Sweeney of St. Marys to serve as judge of West Virginia's Third Judicial Circuit.
