CHARLESTON -- After the House of Delegates passed a controversial bill targeting the state Attorney General's office, legal watchers were quick to attack the move.
CHARLESTON – The Democrat-led West Virginia House of Delegates on Monday shot down a Republican amendment to a proposed version of the federal False Claims Act.

CHARLESTON – The West Virginia House of Delegates enacted a resolution honoring West Virginia's first African American lawyer and pioneer civil rights activist, John Robert "J.R." Clifford, on Feb. 15.
Willis-Miller MORGANTOWN – Jackson Kelly attorney Taunja Willis-Miller received the award for Leadership in Rural Health from the Center for Rural Health Development, Inc. at a luncheon Oct. 27 during the 19th Annual Rural Health Conference.
Tennant CHARLESTON -- Mason and Putnam counties, in a lawsuit filed in the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals last week, say the state Legislature failed to consider "the community interests of the people" in approving a House of Delegates redistricting plan.
