MORGANTOWN – Dinsmore & Shohl is pleased to announce that Nicholas A. Graziosi is joining the firm’s Morgantown office, practicing in the Corporate Department.
Nicholas Graziosi comes to Dinsmore from Chesapeake Energy, LLC, where he worked to ensure Chesapeake and its affiliates secured the necessary rights conduct various oil and gas operations in the Southern Appalachian region.
In this role, Nick routinely advised senior management on issues ranging from leasing and drilling rights to mineral and surface ownership matters. While in law school, Nick gained valuable legal experience while serving as a legal intern in the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, as well as serving as student counsel for the West Virginia University Student Legal Services.
Nick earned his J.D. from West Virginia University College of Law and his B.A. from West Virginia University as well. Prior to college, he spent 6 years with the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Nick was a Platoon Commander and Operations Chief during Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was awarded a number of citations and accommodations, including two Meritorious Masts and a Navy Achievement Medal.
