FAYETTEVILLE - Carol J. Dial filed suit in the Fayette County Circuit Court on Nov. 25, naming Southern Appalachian Labor School Foundation Inc. as the defendant.

According to her complaint, Dial is suing the defendant for negligence after it attempted to make repairs to her home.

Dial says she applied for and was granted a grant from the Southern Appalachian Labor School Foundation to repair her home at in Fayetteville. SALS allegedly began making repairs to her home in May, but the work was less than perfect.

Dial claims her home was negligently repaired by drunk workers. Dial says she notified SALS to no avail that workers were often drunk on the job and sometimes would pass out on her property.

Dial alleges the work was left incomplete and has now filed this lawsuit in hopes for some relief.

Dial is seeking an amount to be determined for the cost of repair and clean up and damages from the alleged negligence. She is being represented by attorney Anthony M. Salvatore.
