CHARLESTON - Attorney Scott E. Barnette recently joined the regional law firm Bowles Rice LLP.
He will serve in the firm’s Charleston office and focus his practice in energy and real estate development.
Barnette received his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law (1995). He also earned a master’s degree in business administration and bachelor of science degree in business from West Virginia University.
In addition to practicing law, Barnette also teaches organizational leadership as an adjunct professor at the University of Charleston. Before joining Bowles Rice, he served as general counsel to the West Virginia Military Authority. He also previously worked as a real estate broker and appraiser.
Bowles Rice has 135 attorneys and eight regional offices located in Charleston, Martinsburg, Morgantown, Moundsville and Parkersburg; Southpointe, Pa.; Lexington, Ky.; and Winchester, Va.
