PINEVILLE - Scott G. Mandirola, the director of the Division of Water and Waste Management at the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, filed suit in Wyoming County Circuit Court on Dec. 3, naming Pinnacle Creek Properties as the defendant.
According to Mandirola, Pinnacle owns two underground storage tanks at 492 Pinnacle Ave. in Pineville. Mandriola says on June 19, 2012, Pinnacle was inspected by the WVDEP and multiple state and federal infractions were discovered.
WVDEP claims there are leaks in the tanks and they are causing harm to the environment.
Mandirola is seeking to enjoin Pinnacle from committing any more of the alleged violations and is being represented by attorney Jason Wandling.
