Spectrum Brands seeks $30K in lawsuit

PRINCETON - A company is seeking damages after another company allegedly breached a sales contract.

Stanley Security Solutions Inc. and Kwikset Corp., subsidiaries of Spectrum Brands Inc., filed a lawsuit Nov. 15 in the Circuit Court of Mercer County against GSR Hardware LLC, citing breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs sold certain goods to the defendant for an amount agreed upon and set forth in invoices sent to the defendant. The plaintiffs claim that the defendant ordered the goods described in the invoices, received the goods, accepted the goods, but failed to pay for the goods in full.

The plaintiffs are seeking a judgment in the amount of $29,575.61, plus interest. They are being represented in the case by attorney John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC.
