MARTINSBURG -- Martin & Seibert shareholder Susan R. Snowden has been re-appointed by the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia for another five-year term on the District Sixteen Character Committee.
The members of the committee are appointed by the state Supreme Court from lists of nomination submitted to the Court by all of the judges of courts of record within the particular bar district.
The Character Committee considers the character and fitness of applicants to be admitted to the bar and reports to the Board of Law Examiners of its investigation and its recommendation in regard to the character and fitness of the applicant for admission to practice law in the State of West Virginia.
Snowden has served on the Character Committee since 1998.
