HUNTINGTON -- The partners of Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough have promoted Nathan Brown to of counsel.
He is a former associate in the West Virginia office who joined the firm in 2012.
Brown practices in the area of civil litigation. He has experience as a trial defense counsel in the United States Army where he represented service members in a variety of matters. He also acted as a senior legal advisor to the brigade that trained combat advisors deploying to Afghanistan and Iraq, and functioned as the chief legal advisor to a combined, joint task force responsible for counter-improvised explosive device operations in Afghanistan. Prior to his military service, he served as an in-house attorney for Norfolk Southern Corp.
He is admitted to practice law in West Virginia and Virginia.
