Wyoming Co. woman sues Rite Aid after being injured at store

PINEVILLE -- A Wyoming County resident is suing after allegedly sustaining injuries while at a local Rite Aid.

Ruby Ann Lusk filed a lawsuit Jan. 6 in Wyoming Circuit Court against Rite Aid of West Virginia.

Lusk alleges on Jan. 6, 2012, she was on the premises of the defendant's store in Oceana when she sustained serious injury after she slipped and fell on an unmarked curb. The defendant failed to remove the dangerous condition, did not post any signs warning of the condition and failed to maintain the premises in a safe condition, according to the complaint.

The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. She is being represented by attorney Thomas H. Evans III of Thomas Hanna Evans PLLC.
