CHARLESTON -- A Kentucky couple has accused a South Charleston doctor of medical malpractice.
Judy and Dolphie Christopher Isaac filed suit Jan. 8 in Kanawha Circuit Court, naming Rita Gandhy MD as the defendant.
The Issacs, who are residents of Salyersville, Ky., claim that in May 2012, Judy Isaac sought medical treatment from Gandhy relating to her spinal cord. The Isaacs say the treatment fell below the applicable medical standard and has left Judy with permanent injuries.
The Issacs are seeking an undisclosed amount in damages. They are being represented by attorney C. Benjamin Salango.
Kanawha Circuit Court Case No. 14-C-30.
