Woman says she wasn't paid wages by former employer

Timeclock

CHARLESTON -- A former employee is suing after her employer failed to pay wages.

Ronnie Delawder filed a lawsuit Jan. 21 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Forsyth Demo & Foundations LLC.

According to the complaint, from Aug. 8 to Sept. 4, 2013, Delawder was employed by Forsyth Demo & Foundations. Delawder says Forsyth failed to pay her full wages within 72 hours of her termination, which is in direct violation of West Virginia Wage Payment and Collection Act.

Delawder is seeking all of her lost wages, plus interest and court costs. She is being represented in the case by attorneys J. Michael Ranson, Cynthia M. Ranson and G. Patrick Jacobs.
