Delta Electric says Mechel Bluestone owes $26,000

BECKLEY -- One company is suing another for the remaining amount of an unpaid bill.


Delta Electric Inc. filed a lawsuit Jan. 16 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Mechel Bluestone Inc., Bluestone Industries Inc., doing business as Pay Car Mining Inc., and Double Bonus Coal Co.

According to the complaint, Delta Electric sold on account various equipment and supplies to the defendants, specifically to its mines in Wyoming County named Double Bonus Coal Company No. 65 Mine and Pay Care Mining Inc., Spider Ridge Mine. After the plaintiff completed delivery and servicing of the equipment, the defendants made payments to Delta Electric, but have failed to pay the remaining $26,440.18. The plaintiff says that since May 7, the defendants have refused to pay the remaining amount due on the account.

Delta Electric is seeking $26,440.18 plus interest, attorney's fees and court costs. They are being represented by Robert D. Pollitt.
