BECKLEY -- A man is suing Ford after the truck he purchased was faulty and failed to conform to the warranty.

Ricky Cook filed a lawsuit Jan. 17 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Ford Motor Co.

Cook says on May 11, he purchased a used Ford F-150 from an authorized dealer for $36,191.74. He says after the purchase he experienced repeated non-conformities with the vehicle warranty which substantially impaired the use and value of the vehicle. The complaint says after numerous attempts to repair the manufacture did not conform the vehicle to the warranty and did not replace the vehicle.

Cook is seeking a revocation of the contract and refund of the purchase price, plus damages and attorney's fees. He is being represented by Anthony M. Salvatore of Hewitt & Salvatore.
