Va. woman sues former employer for breach of contract

Termination

PRINCETON -- A Virginia woman is suing a former employer, claiming she was denied payment of wages earned.

Jennifer D. Arbogast filed a lawsuit Jan. 21 in Mercer Circuit Court against A-1 Tire and Auto Center LLC and John W. Dye, citing breach of contract.

Arborgast, who lives in Tazewell County, Va., alleges in the suit that on Jan. 8 the defendant terminated her employment in Princeton. According to the claim, the defendant refused to pay Arbogast the wages she earned prior to her termination.

Arborgast is seeking wages earned from Dec. 21 until Jan. 6, damages, and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Princeton attorney David T. Estep, of Legal Aid of West Virginia Inc. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Omar Aboulhosn.
