Pa. manufacturer says coal company didn't pay

PRINCETON -- A Pennsylvania manufacturing company is suing a Princeton coal company, claiming they did not pay for goods.


Eriez Manufacturing Company filed a lawsuit Jan. 17 in Mercer Circuit Court against Appalachian Coal Services LLC, citing breach of contract.

The plaintiff alleges in the suit that on Aug. 19, 2011, the defendant, at 515 Mercer St. in Princeton, purchased goods from the plaintiff. According to the claim, the defendant did not pay the plaintiff for the items they received.

The plaintiff is seeking $53,750, interest and court costs. The plaintiff is being represented in the case by Pennsylvania attorney John R. Keating, of Amato Keating and Lessa P.C. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Omar Aboulhosn.
