HUNTINGTON -- A Lawrence County, Ohio, man is suing over claims he was injured in a car collision.
David L. Cornell filed a lawsuit Feb. 20 in Cabell Circuit Court against Candace P. Duty, citing negligence. Duty also is from Lawrence County, Ohio.
According to the complaint, on Feb. 23, 2012, Cornell's vehicle was struck by the vehicle Duty was operating at the intersection of U.S. 60 and Fifth Avenue in Huntington, injuring the plaintiff.
Cornell is seeking $500,000 in damages. He is being represented in the case by attorney Michael Paesani. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Christopher D. Chiles.
