Company says Gilbert business owes $284K

Contract

WILLIAMSON -- A Gilbert business and its sole shareholder are being sued after allegedly failing to pay invoiced costs of more than $284,000.


Hanover Resources Inc. filed a lawsuit March 11 in Mingo Circuit Court against Cline and Sons Stone and Gravel Inc. and Patrick Cline, citing breach of contract, enforcement of laborer's liens and enforcement of guaranty agreement.

The complaint states Hanover Resources and Cline and Sons entered into a labor services agreements on May 9, 2011, Oct. 31, 2011, and April 18, 2013.

According to the terms of the agreements Hanover Resources provided labor to the defendant and the defendant was required to pay the invoices when received, according to the complaint.

The plaintiff contends the defendants have failed to pay invoiced costs and interest.

The plaintiff is seeking $171,408.01 plus interest from Cline and Sons and $113,038.20, plus interest from Patrick Cline.
