HUNTINGTON -- A Huntington resident is suing after becoming injured while a passenger on a bus.
Jeffrey A. Cook filed a lawsuit April 9 in Cabell Circuit Court against the West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Public Transit and Clyde Randall Waller, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Cook was a passenger on a bus when the driver, Waller, collided with another vehicle on July 23. The plaintiff alleges he sustained injuries in the collision as a result of the defendant's negligence.
The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages.
Cook is being represented in the case by R.R. Fredeking II of Fredeking & Fredeking Law Offices LC. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge F. Jane Hustead.
