LOGAN -- General Motors is being sued over allegations that a vehicle has substantial defects.
Robert Simpkins filed a lawsuit April 28 in Logan Circuit Court against General Motors Corp.
The complaint states Simpkins purchased a 2012 Chevrolet Impala on June 4, 2012, from Thornhill Superstore and manufactured by the defendant.
After the purchase, the plaintiff learned the vehicle had several defects and took the vehicle in for repair on six different occasions, according to the complaint. The plaintiff alleges the problems have not been resolved.
The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages, including the purchase price of the vehicle.
Simpkins is being represented in the case by Jeffrey S. Simpkins. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Roger L. Perry.
