PINEVILLE -- A West Virginia resident has filed suit against General Motors, alleging her vehicle has not been fixed.
Anna Y. Gibson filed a lawsuit in Wyoming Circuit Court against General Motors LLC.
The complaint states Gibson purchased a new vehicle with a three-year or 36,000-mile warranty and a five-year or 100,000-mile power train warranty.
The vehicle has been in the shop with the same life threatening non-conformities three or more times and the vehicle has been out of service for the requisite time, according to the complaint.
The plaintiff alleges the defendant has failed to make repairs to make the vehicle conform to the warranties.
The plaintiff is seeking an undisclosed amount in damages, including the refund of the vehicle purchase price.
Gibson is being represented in the case by Timothy P. Lupardus of Lupardus Law Office. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Warren R. McGraw.
