KEYSER -- A woman is suing over claims she was injured on the premises of a convenience store.
Heather L. Fields filed a lawsuit May 8 in Mineral Circuit Court against 7-Eleven Inc., citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Fields was at a 7-Eleven in Mineral County on Nov. 27, 2012, when she slipped on a wet patch on the floor and suffered injuries to her hip, shoulders, foot and back. 7-Eleven is accused of negligence and failing to warn of the danger.
Fields is seeking compensatory and punitive damages in an amount to be determined by the court.
She is being represented in the case by attorney David E. Furrer of Seigel, Tully & Furrer.
