WHEELING -- A Marshall County couple is suing over claims their new car had multiple problems within six months.
Rebecca A. and Zachary Goudy filed a lawsuit May 14 in Ohio Circuit Court against Ford Motor Company, citing breach of warranty.
According to the complaint, the Goudys leased a 2013 Ford Mustang on May 25, 2012, and in the next six months made three repair attempts under warranty for the instrument cluster and twice for the transmission. The defendant is accused of failing to deliver a vehicle free of defects.
The Goudys are seeking the cancellation of the lease, damages, attorney's fees and the cost of the vehicle.
They are being represented in the case by attorney Christina Gill Roseman. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Ronald E. Wilson.
