Trucking firm sues Dynamic, Mechel for contract breach

BECKLEY -- A Beckley trucking company is suing two companies after they failed to pay for parts and services received.

Heritage International Trucks Inc. filed a lawsuit May 14 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Dynamic Energy Inc. and Mechel Bluestone Inc., citing breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

The plaintiff claims it entered into an agreement with the defendant to provide truck parts and services. The suit alleges the defendant agreed to pay the plaintiff according to the invoices for the parts and services during the relevant period, but they failed to pay fees totaling to $21,791.74.

The plaintiff is seeking damages in the amount of $21,791.74, attorney's fees, interest and court costs.

The case is being represented by Charleston attorneys Benjamin B. Ware and Elise N. McQuain of Goodwin and Goodwin LLP.
