CHARLESTON – A Kanawha County woman is suing over claims she was injured in a Kroger store.
Yvette Vance filed a lawsuit June 10 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Kroger Limited Partnership I, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Vance was at a Kroger store in South Charleston on June 20, 2012, when she slipped on an aloe leaf on the floor and sustained injuries to her leg and knee. The defendant is accused of failing to maintain the premises.
Vance is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limit of the court, interest and costs. She is being represented in the case by attorney Tim C. Carrico of Carrico Law Offices L.C. in Charleston.
