WINFIELD – A Putnam County woman is suing over claims she was injured in a collision in a drive-thru line.
Francis Sidars filed a lawsuit June 12 in Putnam Circuit Court against Two Points Construction and Lauren McCallister, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Sidars was waiting in a McDonald's drive-thru in Winfield on April 30, 2013, when she was rear-ended by a vehicle owned by Two Points Construction and driven by employee McCallister. The defendants are accused of negligence.
Sidars is seeking damages, medical expenses and court costs.
She is being represented in the case by attorney David M. Adkins of The Adkins Law Firm PLLC in Hurricane. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Phillip M. Stowers.
