PERSONNEL FILE: Warner and Bell join Kay Casto

CHARLESTON – Kay Casto & Chaney have announced that Boyd L. Warner and Brandy D. Bell have joined its Morgantown office.

“We are excited and pleased to welcome Boyd and Brandy to our firm,” said managing member Michael Chaney. “They bring a wealth of experience and expertise.”

Prior to Kay Casto & Chaney, Warner was a member of the Clarksburg firm Waters, Warner and Harris. His diverse practice areas range from Personal Injury/Insurance Defense to Civil Rights and Governmental Tort Defense.

He is a graduate of the West Virginia University College of Law and was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 1965. He is a past president of the Harrison County Bar Association and has been inducted as a Fellow to the West Virginia Bar Foundation.

Warner is a member of the American Bar Association, West Virginia Bar Association, Harrison County Bar Association, Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, Defense Research Institute, and the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has an “AV” rating by his peers by Martindale-Hubbell and has been listed by West Virginia Super Lawyers since 2008.

Bell is a former member of the Clarksburg firm Waters, Warner and Harris. Her primary area of practice is litigation, including insurance defense.

She graduated cum laude from Fairmont State University in 2001, and went on to graduate Order of the Barristers from West Virginia University College of Law in 2004.

She is a member of the American Bar Association, West Virginia Bar Association, Harrison County Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, and Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. In 2010, Bell was admitted to practice law in the State of Pennsylvania and was has been selected by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2012.
