Ky. company says security firm didn't pay for services

CHARLESTON – A Kentucky-based company is suing over claims it wasn't paid for services and materials delivered to a West Virginia company.

Jones Oil Company Inc. of Pikeville filed a lawsuit Aug. 12 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Appalachian Enterprise Security Services, doing business as TMK Security of St. Albans, and George King.

According to the complaint, the defendant executed an application with Jones Oil Company for an extension of credit on Sept. 9, 2013. The complaint states that with George King as guarantor, the plaintiff carried out a series of transactions in April and May 2014, which the defendant has failed to pay for, owing a sum of more than $22,700.

Jones Oil Company is seeking the amount owed, interest, and attorney fees.

The plaintiff is being represented by attorney Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon in Huntington. The case has been assigned to circuit judge Louis Bloom.

The case number is Kanawha Circuit Court Case 14-C-1433
