PERSONNEL FILE: Jacques joins Bell Law

CHARLESTON – The Bell Law Firm is pleased to announce that Stacy Ann Jacques has joined the firm.

Jacques, a trial lawyer with more than ten years of experience, joins the firm emphasizing employment, complex claims and serious personal injury litigation.

Jacques is also committed to helping families build their families through adoption. An attorney and adoptive parent, Jacques devotes a portion of her practice to adoption matters by handling adoptions. She focuses her civil litigation practice primarily on the representation of individuals in the areas of employment law, complex litigation, serious personal injury, and adoption.

Jacques is a graduate of West Virginia University College of Law (2004). She received her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in Sociology and Anthropology (2001). She was admitted to the West Virginia State Bar in 2004. She is admitted to practice law before the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia.

Among her many honors, she was the winner of the West Virginia Invitational Trial Competition (2004), Order of the Barristers, and was Associate Editor, West Virginia Law Review.

Jacques continues to show support for the Kanawha/Putnam Foster Adopt Support Group and Court Appointed Special Advocates since 2001 and where she held the position of Director of the Board from 2008 through 2010.
