PERSONNEL FILE: Lucas elected to NADOA Board of Directors

WHEELING – Steptoe & Johnson member Jason Lucas has been elected to the 2014 National Association of Division Order Analysts (NADOA) Board of Directors.




Lucas will serve a one-year term as Corresponding Secretary. The board election was held during NADOA’s National Institute in Chicago.


Lucas was nominated and appointed by his peers in the oil and gas industry. There are just six positions on NADOA’s Board of Directors.

“I am honored to have been elected to serve on the NADOA board,” Lucas said. “It is a privilege to represent the firm as we work to further the education and interests of professionals in the oil and gas industry.”

At Steptoe & Johnson, Lucas concentrates his practice in the areas of energy and mineral law in Ohio and Pennsylvania from the firm’s Wheeling office.

Having joined the firm in 2010, he assists clients with mineral title examinations and title opinions and coordinating and performing due diligence and mineral acquisitions.

Lucas earned both his B.A. and J.D. at The Ohio State University.
