HUNTINGTON – Huddleston Bolen recently welcomed two new lawyers to the firm.
Megan Basham joined the firm’s Litigation Department, and Adam Harlow joined the firm’s Business Law Department. Both will serve clients from the firm’s Huntington office.

Basham is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department where she represents transportation companies, retailers, and other industrial companies in matters such as premises liability, personal injury, and employment law.
From Chesapeake, Ohio, Basham received her undergraduate education from Marshall University, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing and a minor in Spanish. While at Marshall, she studied at Oxford University in England. She is a member of the Society of Yeager Scholars, Marshall’s highest academic scholarship program.
In 2014, Basham earned her Juris Doctorate, with distinction, from the University Of Oklahoma College Of Law. While in law school, she served as an Articles Editor on the American Indian Law review, served as a research assistant to Professors Judith Maute and Liesa Richter, and worked in the school’s Live Client Civil Clinic.
As a member of the Law Review, Basham authored an article entitled “Unmasking Tonto: Can Title VII ‘Make It’ in Hollywood?,” which was published in Volume 37 of the American Indian Law Review.
Harlow is an associate in the firm’s Business Law department. His practice is concentrated in the areas of taxation, estate planning, bankruptcy, and commercial law. Harlow comes to the firm with a background in taxation and accounting. Before beginning a legal career, he was an associate at a CPA firm in Huntington.
A lifelong West Virginia resident, Harlow received his J.D. from the West Virginia University College of Law in 2014 and received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Marshall University in 2010, where he graduated Cum Laude. During law school, he participated in the Summer Clerk program at Huddleston Bolen before joining the firm as an associate.
