CHARLESTON – Jackson Kelly is pleased to welcome William E. Cartwright, Patrick F. Estill and Christopher F. Hoskins to the firm.
The three associates will be joining the Commercial Law Practice Group. Cartwright is located in the Firm’s Evansville, Ind., office. Estill and Hoskins are located in the Firm’s Lexington, Ky., office.
Cartwright is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. While in law school, he was a member of Moot Court Board, Trial Advocacy Board, Tax Law Society and Student Bar Association. He also served as Vice President of the Equine Law Society. He competed in the National Tax Moot Court Competition in Clearwater, Florida. Cartwright is a 2011 summa cum laude graduate of Murray State University where he was a varsity member of the school's baseball team. During his time at Murray State, he was active in the Interfraternal Council, a member of Phi Alpha Theta (historical honor society) and served as a peer mentor with Student Services with Learning Disabilities. He was a recipient of the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship and the Ohio Valley Conference Commissioner's Medal of Honor. Cartwright is a native of Madisonville, Ky., and is licensed to practice law in Kentucky (Indiana license is pending).
Estill received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Kentucky College of Law in May of 2014. While at the University of Kentucky, he was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal and Moot Court Executive Board. Estill graduated from Tulane University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in political economy and a minor in Spanish.
Hoskins is a 2014 cum laude graduate of the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. While in law school, he first served as Associate Editor and then Lead Articles Editor for the Northern Kentucky University Law Review. He also served as an instructor in the Street Law program for two semesters while in law school. Hoskins is a 2008 cum laude graduate of Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he was a Presidential Scholar Recipient and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
