CHARLESTON – A Putnam County company is suing over claims an attorney owes money for advertising.
Ogden Directories Inc., doing business as EZ to Use.com, filed a lawsuit June 27 in the Magistrate Court of Kanawha County against James M. Pierson. The case was removed to Kanawha Circuit Court on Sept. 24.
According to the lawsuit, Pierson, doing business as Pierson Legal Services, owes Ogden Directories Inc. $3,495 in unpaid advertising invoices. In an Oct. 7 response to the civil complaint, Pierson denied that any money is owed.
Ogden Directories is represented by attorney James B. Atkins of Atkins and Ogle Law Offices in Buffalo.
The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Paul Zakaib Jr.
