PRINCETON – A Mercer County woman is suing over claims improperly installed windows damaged her home.

Linda Marshall filed a lawsuit Dec. 18, 2014, in Mercer Circuit Court against Window World of Beckley Inc., citing breach of contract.

According to the complaint, Marshall hired the defendant to install replacement windows in her mobile home in Bluewell on Jan. 16, 2012. The complaint states that in fall 2012, Marshall discovered moisture and mold problems in the home, and a contractor found the windows had been improperly installed, causing more than $8,000 in damage to the home.

Marshall is represented by attorney William H. Sanders III of Sanders, Austin, Flanigan and Flanigan in Princeton. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge William J. Sadler.
