BECKLEY– A Raleigh County man is suing over claims a gutter system he bought is faulty.
Robert W. Cook filed a lawsuit Dec. 16 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Gutter Pro of West Virginia Inc.
According to the complaint, Cook met with an agent of the defendant at his home Oct. 24, 2013, to discuss the installation of a Gutter Pro water management system, and it was installed shortly thereafter. Cook says he soon noticed water leaking behind and overflowing the new gutters, and an adjustment by the defendant failed to fix the problem.
Cook seeks damages, including the $5,500 cost of installation. He is represented by attorney Darl W. Poling of Poling Law Offices in Beckley.
