Man blames bank for slip, fall on icy parking lot

PRINCETON – A man is suing a Princeton bank over claims he slipped and fell on an accumulation of ice.

Ronald Pennington filed suit Jan. 8 in Mercer Circuit Court against Branch Banking & Trust Company.

According to the complaint, Jan. 18, 2013, Pennington slipped and fell on ice that formed on the outside lot of Branch Banking & Trust Company, 1309 Stafford Drive, as he was exiting his vehicle.

Pennington sustained injuries to his right hip, paresthesia of the right leg and neck pain, the suit states, and he sustained medical bills of $7,756.78.

Pennington is represented by attorney Mark E. Wills of Wills Law Office in Princeton.
