Company allegedly took $28,000 in unpaid loans

CLAY – Central Appalachia Empowerment Zone of West Virginia has sued another company for damages after the company allegedly defaulted on a loan and ran up $28,000 in debt.

Central Appalachia filed a lawsuit against Blue Suede Enterprises on Jan. 12 in Clay Circuit Court.

According to the complaint, starting in 2009, Central Appalachia made two loans to Blue Suede, totaling $15,000 each. Notices of default were returned undeliverable, the lawsuit states.

Central Appalachia seeks the total amount past due, interest and attorney fees. Attorney Gregory W. Sproles in Summersville is representing the plaintiff.
