CHARLESTON — The law firm Spilman Thomas & Battle, PLLC (Spilman) announced that Member attorney John F. Allevato recently was installed as the West Virginia State Chair of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) at its annual meeting in Florida.
Allevato collaborates with Spilman colleagues throughout the firm’s footprint and heads up the firm’s Private Client Services group and its Federal Taxation group.
In addition to his leadership role with ACTEC, Allevato is Chair of the West Virginia State Bar’s Probate Law Committee and is a Board Member of the Charleston Estate Planning Council.
