PERSONNEL FILE: Baker, Roma join Steptoe & Johnson

HUNTINGTON – Rodney L. Baker II and Jason E. Roma have joined Steptoe & Johnson PLLC and will practice from the firm’s office in Huntington.

Their addition bolsters the firm’s litigation practice, specifically in the areas of products liability and toxic tort litigation.

Prior to joining Steptoe & Johnson, both attorneys practiced with the law firm of Huddleston Bolen.

Baker focuses his practice in the area of litigation, and has extensive experience in the defense of clients in the areas of products liability, premises liability, toxic tort litigation, and railroad litigation. He is a member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and is listed among The Best Lawyers in America.

Roma’s practice focuses on products liability, toxic tort litigation, transportation law, and general defense. He has tried several cases for Fortune 500 companies and represented clients on both complex tort litigation and in defense of the Federal Employers Liability Act.

Both Baker and Roma earned their Bachelor’s degrees from Marshall University and their legal degrees from West Virginia University.
