WHEELING – One business alleges that another business failed and refused to pay for good and services totaling a sum of more than $14,000.
Shaw Industries Inc. filed a lawsuit in Ohio Circuit Court against John James Inc., doing business as Budget Interiors, and Randall J. Dlesk, citing that the plaintiff sold and delivered goods and services to Budget Interiors between May and July 2014 and wasn't paid.
According to the lawsuit, Dlesk “personally guaranteed any debt owned by John James Inc.,” but the defendants have failed to pay for the goods and services with a principal sum of $14,878.24.
Shaw Industries is asking the defendants to pay the amount of $14,878.24 plus accumulating pre-judgement interest, statutory post-judgement interest, applicable legal fees and anything else the court deems appropriate.
The plaintiff is represented by Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon PLLC of Huntington.
Last year, a couple sued Budget Interiors, John James Inc. and Dlesk for failing to remodel the kitchen in a satisfactory manner.
