HUNTINGTON – The Huntingtonized Federal Credit Union has filed suit against a Cabell County man over a $26,380 loan.
In a lawsuit filed Dec. 9 in the Cabell Circuit Court, the Huntingtonized FCU says Ernest W. Abbott secured his mobile home as collateral for the loan, upon which he is delinquent.
As a result, the suit claims Abbott unlawfully retains the mobile home and the Huntingtonized FCU is seeking immediate possession, judgment for any deficiency in the amount realized upon sale of the home and all repossession expenses.
The Huntingtonized FCU wishes Abbott to remove all personal property out of the home and the right "to dispose of such remaining personal property as the Plaintiff sees fit."
The case has been assigned to Judge John L. Cummings.
