* William Shaffer is suing after complications from a gastric bypass surgery caused him to be hospitalized for three months. He claims physicians at Cabell Huntington Hospital failed to recognize the symptoms of a leak in his intestines and he was subsequently in a comatose state for three months.

Tina D. Elkins v. Brian M. Eerenberg

* Elkins is suing Eerenberg after they were involved in a vehicle accident at 8th Avenue and 20th Street in Huntington. Elkins received physical injuries and lost wages. Her spouse is also suing for loss of consortium. The couple is seeking $180,000 in damages.
