* From February 2003 until June 2004, Tagmeyer was a teacher/counselor for Stepping Stones, a residential group home for boys in Lavalette and receives primary support from West Virginia Division Health and Human Resources. He is suing the company and its managerial staff, claiming he was fired after he reported instances of fraud, waste and neglect committed by Fry and Watts. He is seeking compensatory damages for lost wages and punitive damages.

* Frye, a security guard for Allied Security, is suing XSYS for negligence. Frye was working at the Huntington plant when he fell down a flight of stairs, injuring his shoulder, elbow and teeth. * Akers, a resident of the River View East Apartments in Huntington, is suing the Huntington Housing Authority after she fell in water that had overflowed out of a commode. Akers claims the HHA had a duty as the landlord to maintain the property in safe working order. She is seeking more than $35,000 in damages.

Robert Darren Brumfield v. O'Charley's Restaurant

* Brumfield was dining at O'Charley's on Valentine's Day 2005 when he slipped and fell on "urine and slime" in the men's restroom. He was told by an employee of the restaurant that patrons urinate on the floor "all the time." Brumfield is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
