* Rooper of Hurricane says he was wrongly terminated by Daily and FedEx after being off work because of a work-related injury. He says he was discriminated against.

Martin K. Douglas and Angela B. Douglas vs. Anthony Wayne McQueen, WM Madison Hauling Inc. and David Andrew Garrett

* Martin Douglas of Poca claims he was injured in a March 2004 accident when his car was hit by a tractor-trailer owned by WM Madison and driven by McQueen. He says those injuries were made worse in a May 2005 accident when he was hit by a van owned by Jerry N. Hilbert and driven by Garrett. His wife sues for loss of consortium.

* Slater, Moore, Caldwell and Cobb argue that a new rule imposed by the WVSSAC limiting the number of games an individual softball/baseball player can play in during a reguar season to 32 was not adopted legally and should not be obeyed. The WVSSAC argues that it can make emergency rules because it is not a state agency, but a private association of schools.
