CHARLES TOWN - A Jefferson County woman says she was pushed to the ground at a party in Shepherdstown and is suing the man she alleges did it.
Bozica Spreckic is trying to recover damages from Lucas Collins for acts of negligence and recklessness in a lawsuit filed June 9 in Jefferson Circuit Court.
She says Collins, without provocation, pushed her to the ground at party on June 20, 2004.
The fall, she claims, broke her arm.
"Plaintiff Spreckic did nothing to provoke said actions of Defendant Collins," the complaint says.
It adds that Spreckic has sustained physical pain and suffering and will continue to do so, as well as mental anguish, distress and worry.
She is seeking compensatory and punitive damages.
Christopher Prezioso of Trump and Trump in Martinsburg is handling her case.
Judge Thomas Steptoe Jr. has been assigned the case.
