* Pflugfelder, a New Jersey resident, is suing Service Wire after he slipped and fell on equipment at Service Wire's facility. Pflugfelder is a commercial truck driver and was delivering a shipment of plastic resin pellets when he had to climb over equipment that was covered with an oily film, according to the suit. He is seeking compensatory damages.

Jerry A. Lowe and Jimmie D. Lowe v. Voca Coproration of West Virginia Inc., Res-Care Inc., Mark Arwood, Allan Blake, Joey Burris and Ben Chambers.

* The Lowes rented a house to Voca and Res-Care in which the individual defendants were assisted by the two companies in activities of daily living. After the house was vacated, the Lowes discovered over $37,000 in property damage, according to the suit. They are seeking compensatory damages.

Glenn Stanley v. Wesley Armstrong and Edwin J. Crouse, Sherri Crouse and Banana Joe's Island Party, d/b/a Huntington Entertainment Inc. and Preferred Mail Advertising

* According to the suit, Armstrong was driving under the influence of alcohol in a parking garage when he struck two pedestrians and seven vehicles, including the one owned by Stanley, who is suing Banana Joe's and Huntington Entertainment for recklessly supplying Armstrong with the alcohol. He is also suing Armstrong's employer for providing him with the company's car.

Universal Credit Union v. Hiram Moore and Ardith Moore

* Marshall University football standout Hiram Moore is once again being sued for a deficiency balance of $8,602.96 on a loan he secured for a 2001 GMC Yukon Denali. Moore defaulted on the loan and was forced to surrender the vehicle. Universal is now seeking the remaining balance.
