* Howard Long promised H. Dennis Long one-half interest in all net profits of the family business ventures in exchange for personal services to a variety of family businesses. H. Dennis Long claims Howard Long has failed to comply and is suing for a right to accounting and a breach of contract. He seeks one-half interest of business ventures, compensatory damages and relief.

Fred Schleicher vs. TA Operating Corporation, et al.
J- Gaughan; PA-Ronald Wm. Kasserman
* Schleicher was hired by Brad Erkson and TA as a general manager trainee and agreed to relocate to Baltimore, Md. Schleicher was also advised by the employer that he would be given requested weekends off to visit his son. In Maryland, Schleicher discovered there was another GM in place who was unaware of his employment. The GM in place devised Schleicher's schedule which did not allow for the promised time off. He called Erkson who told him the schedule wouldn't work, hung up, and did not return any other calls. Schleicher filed for unemployment and is seeking compensatory and punitive damages and attorney fees.

Melanie Sparks vs. Parker Hunter, et al.
J- Wilson; PA- Patrick Cassidy
* As an employee of Parker Hunter, Sparks claims she was asked to prepare supervisory reports, a job for which she was not licensed. Suffering from a medical condition, Sparks also took several personal days which did not exceed Parker Hunter's Paid Time Off days. Sparks was fired for missing too many days and was told her health condition was a detriment to the office, claiming she was in violation of company policy. Sparks claims she was in no such violation and is seeking compensatory and punitive damages and attorney fees.

Carpet Showcase vs. Lloyd Klages of Total Contracting
J-Gaughan; PA- Robert Fitzsimmons
* Total Contracting purchased goods and services totaling $5,271.08 from Carpet Showcase. CS claims TC failed to pay the sum, thusly breaching the agreement. CS seeks judgment in total of the sum as well as interest and attorney fees.

Wheeling Pro Hockey LLC vs. Nailers Hockey LLC
J- Gaughan; PA-David L. Wyant, Esq.
* Wheeling Pro Hockey and Nailers Hockey entered into an Asset Purchase Agreement. The Nailers had 90 days to market investor capital contributions in Nailers Hockey. The Nailers failed to sell the contributions and redeemed one-half of the balance owed to WPH of $300,000. The remaining $150,000 was unpaid or not paid in full in the installments agreed upon, consequently breaching the contract. WPH also claims the Nailers owe $61,818 in Naming Right fees from 2003-2005 in addition to 10 percent of the Naming Rights revenues for 2006-2007. WPH seeks compensatory damages, pre-judgment interests, costs and attorney fees.

Corine Zimmerman v. Wesbanco Bank, Inc.
J- Mazzone; PA- Jacob Robinson
* While using the drive/walk thru at Wesbanco, Zimmerman fell in what she claimed to be slippery, dangerous conditions. Zimmerman sustained injuries to the head, neck, back, psyche, etc., some of which are permanent, and incurred medical expenses totaling $18,000. Zimmerman claims she has and will continue to suffer diminution in her ability to care for herself and seeks compensatory damages, interests and costs.
