* The club says Wolfe, who was its treasurer, wrote checks to herself for a total of $125,125. She pleaded guilty to felony criminal charges and has paid some restitution, but she still owes $60,000. The club seeks that amount plus costs, legal interest and other relief.

* After learning he was the biological father of a 12-year-old boy in 2004, John Doe took custody of the boy who was a victim of "simple neglect," according to the DHHR. He says the DHHR, however, didn't warn him of the "significant behavioral history" of the boy, who sexually assaulted, molested, harassed and/or abused his two half-sisters. The plaintiffs seek compensatory damages, court costs, pre- and post-judgment interest and other relief.
